Preincripcions ENG

December 9, the pre-registration period begins, in order to participate in the subsequent raffle to have a spot to participate in the XIII Half Marathon of Formentera and the 8KM Sant Ferran-La Savina. In 2022, the race will be taking place on its usual dates, as it will be celebrated on May 14.

Residents of Formentera and those who have already participated in five or more editions are exempt from carrying out said procedure since they have a guaranteed spot for the race. The former can request their place through the Sports area of the Consell de Formentera, while the latter will receive a code in their email to be able to access the platform and confirm their registration.

The rest of runners who want to enjoy this incredible experience of running from end to end on the island of Formentera, must request their pre-registration through the official website of the test www.marato-formentera.com, starting December 9th until the 10th of January.

Among all people pre-registered, the organization will have a raffle before a notary, on January 12 at 12:30 p.m., to award the 1,900 spots for the Half Marathon and 1,000 spots for the 8KM that are available for the race, to be held on May 14.  Once the raffle has been completed, the runners awarded with a spot will be able to confirm their registration between January 14th and February 7th.

As per usual, like it has happened in recent editions of the race, which has the institutional sponsorship of the Consell de Formentera and the Govern de les Illes Balears, the great demand for participation and the island’s own territorial limitations, makes the organization establish this registration system to cover the 3,700 allowed participants for both races together.
