Unisport Consulting, the organizing company of the Formentera Triatló llla, announces the opening of the registration period for the eleventh edition of this event, which will be held on September 21 in the town of Es Pujols, in the Sprint and Olympic modalities.
All those who want to participate in a test that has been consolidated in the national triathlon calendar and that many take advantage of to put an end to their season, due to the excellent weather conditions that Formentera offers at this time of year, can process their registration at through this website. The deadline to register online will end on September 19, although on the same day of the competition, in-person registrations will also be accepted, before 12:30 p.m., at the bib delivery tent. It is worth remembering that last year there were more than 300 athletes who gathered in this Triatló Illa de Formentera.
The race is again held in two modalities, depending on the distance traveled by the participants. In the Sprint modality, individual and team, athletes must travel 750 meters in the water, 20 kilometers by bicycle and 5 kilometers of running. In the Olympic modality, participants will face 1,500 meters swimming, 40 kilometers by bicycle and 10 kilometers running.
As in previous editions, the Plaça d’Europa in es Pujols will once again be the epicenter of the event, where the competition will begin and end and where the pits will be located for the changeover of each sport. The event once again has the institutional support of the Formentera Council and the Balearic Government, in addition to Trasmapi as the main sponsor and numerous collaborators who make it possible for Formentera to once again demonstrate its full potential to host sports events.
