Es Pujols beach was once again the scene of a vibrant day of sport today with the celebration of the XI Formentera Triathlon, which brought together nearly 400 triathletes. In the Olympic event, triathletes Tadeo Baruffato and Chloé Serra were crowned Balearic Islands champions, delivering an outstanding performance from the swimming segment to the finish line.
Tadeo Baruffato (CE Illes Balears) clocked a time of 2:00:22 at the finish line after a 1.5-kilometer swim, 40-kilometer bike ride, and 20-kilometer run. Baruffato was the fastest in the swimming segment, but the cycling segment leveled the field before the final segment, which Roberto Almansa (CE Triacademy) started in first place with a four-second lead. However, Baruffato proved to be the strongest, crossing the finish line 48 seconds ahead of Almansa and 1:51 ahead of Guillem Soler (CE Illes Balears), who completed the podium.

In the women’s event, Chloé Serra (Viva-Es Raiguer) took the lead with a time of 2:21:47, comfortably beating Victoria Benavides (CE Can Calco) and Maria Sbert (CE Triacademy), who finished second and third, respectively.
